Tenax International SpA, based in Rio Saliceto (Reggio Emilia) in the so-called Motor Valley, is a company active in the design and production of 100% electric low-voltage compact sweeping and street cleaning machines with a container capacity of less than 2.5 cubic meters. The company was founded in 2016 by Mr. Vincenzo Guareschi Geddes da Filicaia – an entrepreneur with significant experience in the sector – following the acquisition of a business unit from Unieco Costruzioni Meccaniche. Since December 2020 it has been listed on the AIM Italia market (raised in AuCap € 2.2 million gross). The company currently produces 3 models and is launching a new machine (Electra 2.0 Evos) that can also be approved in Germany – which alone accounts for 50% of the European compact sweepers market. The products are sold in over 42 countries through a direct distribution channel and a dealer network. In 2020 Tenax International recorded revenues of € 7.9 million and an EBITDA of € 1.01 million (EBITDA margin of 11.4%) with 84% of revenues generated abroad. It boasts a staff of 41 employees.
