Orva Group, founded in 1979 in Bagnacavallo (RA) and led by entrepreneur Luigi Bravi, is one of the leading Italian groups in the bread substitute sector. The product portfolio focuses in particular on “piadina” and “pan bauletto” and is aimed at a parterre of customers that include the large organized distribution brands, mainly in Italy, for which both private label lines and branded products are made through 8 privately owned brands. In 2019, the production value of Orva, which has 246 employees, was € 55.3 million, up to € 57 million and 270 employees in 2020 and a forecast of € 60 million in turnover for 2021, mainly driven by the development of the gluten-free sector.
